Rebecca Palmer
Rebecca Palmer is a serial entrepreneur and international community builder with a mission to inspire innovation, transform lives and create a positive global impact. A lifelong learner, she has over 10 years of experience on global entrepreneurship, strategic shifts and social good. She is a regular speaker at events on topics such as young entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurship, social business and the future of work.
She was a founding member of the Startup Barrie community, a delegate to the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (YEA) in 2014 and a delegate at the Global Entrepreneurial Congress (GEC) in 2016, 2017 and 2018. She was recently selected as a finalist for the Startup Nations Award for Local Policy Leadership and was awarded the 2017 Startup Canada Adam Chowaniek Memorial Award for Global Entrepreneurship. In addition, Rebecca also sits on the Georgian College BENT (Entrepreneurship) Advisory board, The Simcoe Entrepreneurship Ecosystem (SEE) committee and was previously vice-chair of the Barrie Public Library Board. She is a published contributor to the Canadian newspaper Globe & Mail and has been interviewed on radio and television on various occasions.
Rebecca is currently the founder and Chief Catalyst of EntreLaunch Inc. with a mission to change the world by empowering the youths to think creatively, create social impact and build businesses without borders.
